The stories are inspired by native Australian animals living in the Australian bush, such as Ned Numbat of Narrogin and Ellie Koala's Rottnest Race.Other books are about Australian birds and animals that live along the King Parrot Creek in Central Victoria. They include Parny and the Little Orange Tractor, Parny and the BIG Green Tractor, and Parny and the BIG Red Tractor.Diane's other stories are inspired by her grandchildren and their soft toys, such as Nou Nou to the Rescue, Ava and Bear Bear, and Guess who is BIGGER now?
