Peng Yue (died 196 BC), style name Zhong ( ), was a prominent military leader and political figure in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. He was involved in the Chu Han contention and served Liu Bang as an ally. In recognition of his contributions, Liu granted Peng the title of "King of Liang" ( ) after the founding of the Han Dynasty.Peng was a native of Changyi (present-day Jinxiang County, Shandong), and was originally a fisherman.
