Anne Hughes is a motivational speaker, writer and broadcaster with more than 25 years' experience in public speaking and a depth of experience and knowledge in inspiring and motivating.Having encountered a life-changing episode in 2017, facing death and enduring a lengthy recovery, Anne is now driven to encourage people to act immediately to ensure their lives feel better on the inside.Anne produces and hosts two podcasts, has produced, and hosted over 150 interview format shows for Sunny Govan Radio and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Scotland. She has appeared in three series of The People's News on BBC Scotland TV; written more than 100 columns for Glasgow Live and was a contributing author to the book She's Unstoppable, published in August 2020.In June 2024, Anne releases her own take on self-help books with People Are Arseholes, written with the intention of making her city and country a kinder place to live.Anne lives in Glasgow with her husband and three children.
