Author of World's First Poetic Treatises on Constitution, Law and Governance in English and Hindi, Jurist-Poet Dr Arun Kumar Jha is a renowned interdisciplinary scholar and Advocate practising at the Supreme Court of India. He was born on 22 January 1954 in the ancient Mithila region of India at Mangrauni-Madhubani (Darbhanga) in Bihar State. A former Professor in the Deptt. of English having taught for 44 years at Sri Aurobindo College, Delhi University, Dr Jha has also been an Accredited Law Journalist at the Supreme Court of India ( 1984-2007). His writings were extensively covered from time to time by the National Dailies - Anand Bazar Patrika, Business Standard, The Telegraph, The Observer ( of Business and Politics), The Asian Age , National Herald, Navbharat Times and The Tribune. World Poetry Award - 22 was conferred on him in recognition of his unique poetry skills, composition of poetry on Indian Constitution and expertise in English Literature on World Poetry Day, 21 March, 2022. His maiden poetic treatises have been recognised the world over as breaking new grounds in Literature, Law and Political Science
