Autorenporträt
Sunil Thapa worked as a teacher in Nepal during the 10 year insurgency. He went to Australia to write a thesis at Western Sydney University on how peace and security could be achieved in Nepal, a poor, land-locked country ruined by the armed conflict and political change. He has published several articles related to the peace process in Nepal and the political machinations frustrating it. In 2018 he will have a co-authored chapter on Nepal and China-India regional rivalry published in the edited book Nepal and the Great Powers. Drew Cottle is a senior lecturer in History and Politics at Western Sydney University. He has published many articles in various international journals on international relations, political economy and social struggles.
