His friends, Adamu Danbaba and Bassey Inyang, already working within Intelligence and Security, have also risen to high positions in that world, with the former now Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and the latter the Chief of Staff to their former boss, James Aloysius, who is now the National Security Adviser to the President. A major terrorist attack at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja, carried out by a rogue member of one of the security agencies triggers a major investigation which uncovers the existence of another mole within the security apparatus - this time with the intention of assassinating the President. Aloysius, Mike, Bassey and Adamu have to act fast, but in complete secrecy, to identify and apprehend the assassin before it is too late....

Autorenporträt
Akintunde Akinkunmi was born and brought up in Ibadan, Nigeria. Qualifying as a medical practitioner in 1986, he served shortly with the Brigade of Guards in the Nigerian Army and, upon relocating to the United Kingdom in the late 1980s, in the British Army for more than two decades before retiring as a senior officer in 2019. A qualified forensic psychiatrist, he is a Fellow of two Royal Colleges (The Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow) and also holds a Masters Degree in Law.
