Autorenporträt
Deborah Stewart Chinn began writing short stories as a young adult. Having been weaned on the novels of William Faulkner and the sardonic short stories of Dorothy Parker, she crafted her style in a similar vein. Her reaction to the presidential election of 2016 was to place it in allegorical terms. A Louisiana native, she has lived and worked in Southern California since the 1980s. She is currently working on a book about an aging woman's battles against discrimination in the American workplace.
