Computer technology has helped to unravel the opportunities abound in education by providing tool that aid the process of knowledge transfer. It has also created a global community where the academia can share their expertise in different field regardless of geographical locations. However, in developing countries, the situation is different. The traditional methods of teaching has dominated the teaching process for too long that many are reluctant to let go. Students are not provided with the enabling environment to experience what teaching and learning is like with modern technology because most teachers are not skilled enough to use the appropriate technologies for teaching. This has adverse consequences on the product of higher institutions from most developing countries.
