It is therefore, expected that farmers and researchers should have perfect knowledge and active adoption of advisable crisis management practices in crop cultivation. Adoption of farmers may have some association with their certain personal, socio economic and psychological characteristics. If this association is ascertained, it may be possible to draw out certain inferences about crisis and its management in crops by respondents. Keeping these facts in mind, it was considered worthwhile to carried out investigation to study "Perception of farmers and researchers of South Gujarat about Crisis and its management''.
