This book examines the current trends and developments in organic farming, highlighting its worldwide acceptance and the increasing area of land under organic cultivation. Notably, India ranks among the top ten countries in terms of both land area dedicated to organic farming and market share for organic products. The study explores the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the International Federation for Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) in promoting organic practices, alongside national policies supporting organic farming across various Indian states.
