Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), as constituent campus of Tribhuwan University is the pioneer and largest institution in the country which provides higher education in agriculture to the Nepalese as well as foreign students from around the world. IAAS introduced semester system almost a decade ago. This system is quite different in its philosophy, composition and implementation strategy. By and large, semester system is perceived to be better than the annual system in institutions of higher learning since the students could be kept busy throughout the year. But, it is not full proof that students and faculties are fully satisfied with this system. This book explains the perception of teachers and students regarding the functionality of semester system under various dimensions.

Pokharel, Narendra
Narendra Pokharel, born on 8 July, 1994, is young researcher from Nepal. Mr. Pokharel has completed his bachelor degree in Agriculture (B.Sc.Ag) from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Tribhuvan University in 2018. He is also involved in different organizations working for mainstreaming climate change in Agriculture.
