Hallux Valgus is defined as a foot deformity affecting the first radius, characterized by lateral deviation of the first toe (Hallux Valgus), and a medial deviation of the first metatarsal (metatarsus primus varus), in fact, it produces a much more complex picture than a simple aesthetic deformity, which is known as "first radius insufficiency syndrome", with important consequences on the dynamics, statics and function of the foot.
