Autorenporträt
Eric Curry currently serves as an active duty Infantry Officer in the United States Army and is a graduate of South Carolina State University. Curry is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics and Government. Percy Wants to be a Politician would be the first book that I have ever sought to publish. I have visited a number of schools to share with them my experiences of being a Soldier and leader and I look forward to presenting my very own book when I visit these schools in the future. Eric has embarked on a movement, Team P.E.R.C.Y. which extends the mission of the book's protagonist, Percy Williams. P.E.R.C.Y. is an acronym for Peace, Equality, Respect, Courage & Youthfulness. The mission behind P.E.R.C.Y. is about encouraging all to love one another and doing their part in making the world a better place. Eric has established The Percy Pledge to further that movement. I stand for peace and equality. My respect for myself and others will change the world. I am courageous. I have the courage to do what others won't do. I am magnificent. My words alone are not enough. My actions speak for who I am. I maintain my youth by giving back, pulling as I climb. I have the power to change the world. I have a moral obligation to do my part. I CAN! I WILL! I MUST!
