Autorenporträt
Jaclyn Esse is a self-taught poet and creator of a streetwear brand called Perfect Doesn't Exist based in Southern California. She currently works as an independent contractor for a network marketing company and leads a team of people. Jaclyn's poems are focused on topics such as mental health, self love, growth, and pursuing authentic relationships with God and other people. Through themes of empowerment, she expresses how her life experiences have molded her into the person she is today. She uses poetry to make connections through shared experiences, trauma, and emotion-- putting words to what most feel but cannot express. Combining her love of poetry and fashion, she turned Perfect Doesn't Exist into an online streetwear brand that carries hoodies, crewnecks, shirts, tote bags, beanies and phone cases. Perfect Doesn't Exist is a way for the message behind her poetry to be spread, encouraging anyone who sees it to have grace for themselves and their art.
