Since, the cost of energy is drastically increasing all over the world, today, utilization of solar energy for water desalination is become more attractive. Solar desalination is predominantly important for locations where solar isolation is high and there is a shortage of fresh water. Direct use of solar energy method is the best known method for solar water desalination.Thanks.

Misrak Girma is a PhD candidate at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology , and she is a lecturer at Bahir Dar University, Institute of Technology. She is an expert in Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Renewable Energy, which are the subject she teaches and researches at AAiT. She is the author of two scientific publication.
