In drip irrigation system the hydraulic performance parameters can be used for the design operation and selection of the irrigation system. A laboratory experiment was conducted to evaluate the different types of drip emitters. For the experiment the different types of inline and online emitters i.e. inline emitters Type A - 2 lph, Type B - 3 lph and Type C1 - 4 lph and online emitters Type C2 - 4 lph Pressure Compensating, Type C3 - 4 lph Non Pressure Compensating, Type D1 - 8 lph Pressure Compensating, Type D2 - 8 lph Non Pressure Compensating for were used. The emitters were evaluated at varying pressure between 0.5 to 1.4 kg/cm2 with an increment of 0.1 kg/cm2. From the study it is concluded that inline and pressure compensating emitter's gives better uniformities .
