The main objective of the paper was to exploit the use of USRP hardware in the applications like spectrum sensing, RF Signal analysis. This work deals with spectrum monitoring and spectrum reconstruction for cognitive radio based wireless systems. The main advantage of equipment-based spectrum sensing is to perform more accurate quick and semi-continuous measurements.
