introduces a methodology for understanding network
traffic
behavior through the combination of quality of
service, degradation
policies, and a queue scheme. It also suggests a new
approach in
routing network packets intelligently by dividing the
application
layer into layers that deals with the forwarding
packet process, the
quality of service integrated into the packet, and
the type of
application the packet belongs to.
Autorenporträt
Marcos S. Pinto received his Ph.D and his MBA (Fin) from The City
University of New York (CUNY). He taught at Baruch College (CUNY)
for 2 years before joining the computer systems department at
the New York City College of Technology (CUNY) in 2001. His
research interest lies on artificial intelligence, intelligent
networks, and Web technologies.
