The experiment comprised two ages of tiller seedlings viz. 25 and 35 days old, three levels of tiller seedling per hill viz. 1, 3 and 5 seedlings per hill and three USG levels viz. 0, 1.8g and 2.7g USG. Transplanting 25-day old tiller seedlings was found to be suitable in respect of vegetative growth and grain yield. Transplanting of 5 tiller seedlings per hill appeared to be suitable for the cultivation of transplant Aman rice. Urea super granules (USG) 1.8 g at 10 days after transplanting per four hill in every alternate row was found to be optimum dose of USG for the cultivation of transplant Aman rice (cv. BRRI dhan52).

He was conferred on Master of Science in Agronomy from the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture from the same university in 2013.
