Performances of Research is for faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students who are engaged in the study of social foundations in education, equity and social justice in education, and qualitative inquiry methods. This book is essential reading for pre-service teachers, classroom teachers, and faculties of education and works very well as a textbook for a variety of courses.
Rachael Gabriel is Assistant Professor of Reading Education at the University of Connecticut. She received her PhD in education, with a concentration in literacy studies, cultural studies in education, and graduate certificates in qualitative and quantitative research. Her work has been published in a variety of journals. Jessica Nina Lester is Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at Washington State University. She received her PhD in educational psychology and research, with concentrations in human learning and development and cultural studies in education. Her work has been published in numerous education journals.
