As a result of this, dispossession of land holders (poor farmers) and tenure transformation from life long use right to leasehold is the typical characteristic of the peri-urban areas in Ethiopia.Therefore, in this book the writer tries to show the impacts of expropriation and tenure transformation on the livelihoods of the dispossessed farmers in the peri-urban areas.
