A group of 50 non-pregnant ladies of a matching age were selected from the co-patients as a control group. Clinical Periodontal examination was done for the selected females ( Child bearing age 18 to 35 years ). The result showed the following ; when the periodontal health for pregnant and non pregnant women were compared,There was an evident relation between pregnancy and Gingival index,Clinical attachment loss,Probable pocket depth,and Bleeding during brushing.
