Autorenporträt
Richard Palmer is an Emeritus Professor of Implant Dentistry and Periodontology at King's College London Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Craniofacial Sciences, where he was Head of Restorative Dentistry from 2002 to 2013. He is an honorary life member of the British Society of Periodontology.  Professor Palmer has been the President of the British Society of Periodontology (2003 to 2004) and the European Federation of Periodontology (2008 to 2009). He has published many scientific and clinical papers and is an experienced book author.   Peter Daniel Floyd qualified with a BDS of Dental Surgery from the University College Hospital Dental School in 1966 and gained an MSc in Periodontology at the Royal Dental Hospital School of Dental Surgery in 1971. After working at the University College Hospital, London, he became a lecturer at the Royal Dental Hospital School of Dental Surgery in 1972. Peter Daniel Floyd was the Principal in Practice,Specialist in Periodontics until 2015. He is an honorary life member of the British Society of Periodontology and has been President of the British Society of Periodontology from 2001 to 2002. Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. Peter Floyd has devoted his work to teaching and research and has given more than 80 lectures and day courses to professional societies and study groups. He is an experienced book author and has published many clinical papers.
