Autorenporträt
Regina DuBose was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1957. She was educated in the Detroit Public School system and was raised in a loving family with her parents and four brothers. In 1968, her parents joined a local Baptist church and began to instill a love of God and spiritual teachings into their children. Regina became a member of the church when she was 10 years old, after professing to believe in Jesus Christ. She became active in Sunday School and was a member of the Children's Choir. At 18 years old, she became the youngest person to join the church's Senior Choir. In that same year, her life changed when through the encouragement of her spiritual mentor she decided to re-dedicate her life to Christ.Regina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University, with continued graduate studies at Rutgers University. For 13 years, she was a professional counselor in the community mental health field and gerontology focusing on education, support, treatment plans, and stabilizing mental health clients. Regina's Biblical training combined with her background in psychology and counseling has enhanced her ability to examine human behavior while viewing challenges through a spiritually-guided lens.
