Third chapter includes Influence of Persian on Assamese Language, Literature and Culture. Forth chapter presents about the Sufism and the Roles of Sufis to Promote Assamese Society and lastly the fifth chapter narrates about the Assamese Words of Persian Origin.

Dr. Tafiquar Rahman an inhabitant of Khaira Para and an Assistant Professor is Indian by birth, with an academic background in Persian language and literature. He currently teaches Persian history and literature at Cotton University, Guwahati, Assam. He is the author of three books and articles to his credit.
