This primary focus on the person making progress in virtue development, that then translates into character-based choices affecting the whole person, offers definite advantages in this expanded model with regard to persons: being able to detach from problems (self-distancing) and having confidence in their ability to succeed in making personal changes (self-efficacy).

Autorenporträt
Dr. Morgan is a licensed clinical psychologist in the U.S. and in Austria and is a former university professor. He has Doctor of Psychology and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree. Dr. Morgan also has a Zertifikat in Klinische Psychologie und Gesundheitspsychologie. He has authored books and articles focused on topics related to the Christian practice of psychology. He is an international Clinical Psychology Consultant with SGI, an American NGO, and resides with his wife Cynde in Vienna, Austria.
