Autorenporträt
Dr. Daney Dumdeang is the third child of Mr. Khai and Mrs. Intra Dumdeang. When he was young, he lived in a small and beautiful village of Ranote District, Songkhla province, Thailand, which is an independent country in Southeast Asia and has been known as Siam for a long time. During his teenage, he attended junior high school. He received an unfair punishment from the school's Principal. He then gave up his studies and went to join the Muslim gangster in his area and became chief of the gang shortly thereafter. During his time with the gang, he was homeless until he met a Holy Buddhist Guru with whom he had great faith, so he turned himself into a young Buddhist novice and later ordained as a monk. This time, he continued his study by following the educational system for the monks. Finally, he graduated as a Buddhist. Later, he went to work at the University of Washington, USA and continued his studies by receiving a scholarship from that University. He graduated with first-class honors and was appointed to teach at that university. He also commuted to teach at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He was one of the two professors of the Univesity of Washington who received a special privilege of full payment for twelve months a year with permission to work for the University for only six months. Concerning his family life, he married a beautiful woman, Ms. Patty Kay Dumdeang. Both of them have three wonderful children: Dona, Peter, and Tommy. Now, he is very proud to be the grandfather of his lovely nine grandchildren. He has a peaceful life. He goes to the church regularly with his wife. He then learned the story of God and gained faith in him. With his strong Christian faith, he has converted himself. To Christianity. He was baptized in a local church in Seattle. His Christian life was advised by his good friend, Dr.Joseph Cook, many pastors, and especially his wife, Patty Kay. He has experienced the power and mercy of God through the miracles happening in his life, which he has shared with everybody and the world in his Christmas Testimony. Daney Dumdeang is the author of many books, including "21st Century of Buddhism". He also has many published articles, one of which is "Nirvana and Suffering," which he is co-author with Dr. Nicolas of the University of Washington. He and his wife are now living in Portland in their beautiful house. During the summer season, he usually visits his youngest son, Tommy, and his family in Miami, Florida. He enjoys writing, and now he is stepping up to a new challenge. As a good Christian, He usually disseminates his experiences in doing God's work during the Christmas season by giving a Christ Testimony.
