This beautiful illustrated selection of poems share different aspects of her journey through her pain and joy. How one trip back home to London changed her zeal for like, as God encouraged her to share a deluge of personal thoughts, through poetry. There is no perfect life here on earth. We all have to experience the highs and the lows to appreciate what life is really about. Without these roller-coasters in our lives, we would never know how to enjoy the journey. We understand our time on earth is temporal and it is up to us to make full use of that time, to the best of our abilities with the provisions God has given. When we go against nature's rhythms and God's provisions, we find ourselves struggling with all manner of adversities thrown our way.

Marlyn Haynes Bruce was raised in London, England and migrated to the United States of America in the early eighties. She is a Graphic Designer by Profession, holds a BA Degree in Theology and is pursuing her MA in Christian Counseling & Psychology. No one has all the answers... The earth is a place of growth and we are seeds planted in the soil and are responsible for the watering of our seed. In other words... how we feed our Mind, our Body, and our Spirit. There are lessons to learn as we journey along this road of existence. But note; every stretch of that journey, HOPE can be found through God's Grace and His Mercy. You can never see the full beauty of the forest standing between the trees- But God can see it all! Ms. Bruce resides in Long Island New York, with her family.
