Personal Declension and Revival of Religion in the Soul addresses God in the soul of man. The key question Octavius Winslow asks is: "What is the present spiritual state of my soul before Go?" He examines how the believer's devotion to Christ often declines and what they can do to seek its revival. Octavius Winslow stood out as one of the foremost evangelical preachers of the 19th Century. A Baptist minister and contemporary of Charles Spurgeon he seceded to the Anglican church in his last decade. His Christ centered works show devotion and practicality.
