The research aimed to address this gap by analysing the personality differences between normal and HIV positive persons. It is clear from the results of this research that a link between susceptibility of HIV infection and certain socio-demographic characteristics, personality factors and dimensions, which plays a vital role in engaging in high risk behaviour resulting in this dreaded disease.
