We understand that the challenges of social work in Nicaragua and our America are diverse, leading to a theoretical reflection on social work as a postmodern profession. Referring to the fact that social work, unlike other professional activities, has been characterised since the 19th and 20th centuries.There are many concerns about Nicaraguan social work, and many professionals and students have begun the task of disseminating their experience in order to enrich it with the reflection and contributions of colleagues in Nicaragua and Latin America.
