Perspectives of Dress focuses on the social psychology of clothing and its importance in a society's culture. The purpose of this book is to show the importance placed on dress in regard to social interaction. Dress is a significant form of nonverbal communication. How we dress provides visible symbols that affect our social interaction with other people. This insightful book highlights the role of dress in both individual and group behaviour.
