Autorenporträt
Bette Reed Smith taught music to children, grades K-6, for 31 years in Corfu, New York. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. While participating in the All Original Playwright Workshop, Ms. Smith began to write, primarily for the theatre. Several of her short plays were produced at The Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, with "Self Checkout" being published in the anthology, 30 Short Plays for Passionate Actors. This is Ms. Smith's first published children's book.
