In view of an indiscriminate use of pesticides, continuous monitoring for pesticide residues is needed in food crops especially fruits and vegetables in order to protect the grower s interest and consumer health. Fruit and vegetable growers should be properly educated through mass media and training workshops to create awareness about the issue of pesticide residues.
