The book is composed of eight chapters with chapter one describing the effects of pesticides on environment while chapter two provides the effects of pesticides to human health. Chapter three describes bio-accumulation and bio-magnification of pesticides. Chapter four presents the effect of pesticides to non-targeted species while chapter five provides knowledge about pest resistance to the applied pesticides. Chapter six presents persistence of pesticides in the environment. Chapter seven describes the control measures of pesticides in order to minimize the effects of pesticides to the environments as well as to the environment. Chapter eight presents the advantages and disadvantages of using pesticides in plants and crops. This includes, the pesticide use with economic benefit analysis and advantages of pests control methods that include the chemical control method.
