Autorenporträt
Rita Louise Monaco was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1921. Her short stories first appeared in The Flowerlover Magazine, 1994-1995. Petals from a Rose: A Family Epic is her first novel, published at age 95, proving it's never too late to realize a dream. Rita was an avid reader throughout her life and always wished to write fiction. She lives in Visalia, California and is currently at work on her memoir Growing Up Italian.
