Autorenporträt
As the son of a Veteran of the US military, Sam joined the military himself at 18. Even prior to his personal service in the military, his memory was imprinted visually and he learned details of tanks and guns and uniforms easily. Even after his military career ended, he found himself soaking up every detail of obscure specialty canons and aircraft despite the eye rolls of everyone who loved him. Sam is the friend who ruins an epic battle scene for the room because he noticed that the uniforms shown were incorrect and he can't miss the anachronistic use of weapons. As an adult, he also found a love for art. The culmination of these passions has led him here - to the emulsification of Geekdom, Experience, and Art - where he hopes that history lovers of all ages will find something a little more their speed to color. Sam's first release, US Weapons of WWII: Europe, is just that: his first public showing of a unique set of skills and loves, and one that we all hope will be just one of many. When he isn't working on artwork, he can be found chatting with friends, strumming a guitar, or cooking up something that puts yo mama's cookin' to shame. He has, at least so far, refused to make a restaurant coloring book.
