Sir Peter Scott Noble was a British academic who served as Principal of King's College London from 1952 to 1968.He was educated at Fraserburgh Academy, St John's College, Cambridge where he graduated with a double first in Classics and Oriental Languages, and at the University of Aberdeen. He was made a fellow of St John's College, Cambridge. He held the Chair of Latin Language and Literature at the University of Leeds before being appointed Regius Professor of Humanity at the University of Aberdeen (1938 1952). He then served as Principal of King's College London from 1952 to 1968.
