PETIT ON SCRIBAL CULTURE is another single book in my efforts to publish essays from my studies at Master's level at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They are my toddlings in literature which come in series (and now in singles) in which I did my best to group them loosely according to relatedness or according to works mentored by particular teacher(s). Seven books have already been reeled out! This is the eighth, but it comes as a single because it falls out from those strictly termed Literature, into what I term Scribal Culture. This book contains two essays in two chapters, and it is subtitled, ... Of Press Arts.' The two essays trace briefly and inexpertly the historical advents of writing, printing and publishing in different parts of the globe, to the present digital age. The author does not in any way claim authority in history in this areas. They were a student's assignments done in search of scores. I so much wish that you read this collection of essays, especially if you are interested in the history of these Press Arts, and do an honest review of them because that is the purpose it is put here. Your critique matters because it will inform and reform me and my writing.
