Catharanthus roseus is a medicinal plant proven for a range of benefits such as anticancer, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor activities etc. The plant rhizoidal diversity has been studied to isolate potent PGPR bacteria to apply them as a biocontrol agent.
