The fungal infection caused by fungi and other micro organism. Infection treat by superficial and systemic way. Clotrimazole is broad spectrum imidazole drug which is use for prepare dermal film by used of HPMC and HEC polymers. Dermal film is used for controlling drug delivery system. Dermal film evaluation of film thickness, film endurance and drug release from diffusion study of skin. The film formulation is novel drug delivery system used for controll drug delivery, reduce side effect and increase bioavailability. The filmformulation is prepared by solvent casting method and film stability was study. Antifungal activity was observed by antifungal test.The clotrimazole use to treat skin infection so diffusion study chek diffusion from the different skin layer.The film formation is important for thickness and release of film. The film then cut 2cmx2cm and measured the drug present in particular film. Various types of film available in market . Here compare prepared film with marketed preparation of same drug and measured difference. The film increase patient compliance, controll release, decrease side effect, increase efficiency and bioavability Perform on drug.
