The present study was designed to evaluate the CNS,analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of Asteracantha longifolia Nees in mice. These data demonstrated that the plant may contain bioactive compounds possessing anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities that could be a potential source for discovery of newer analgesic and anti-inflammatory leads for drug development.

Md. Al Amin nació en 1990 en Naogaon, Bangladesh. Desde su infancia tuvo un gran interés por la vida salvaje. Terminó su licenciatura y su máster en Zoología en la Universidad de Rajshahi. En la actualidad está realizando su curso de doctorado en Japón como becario del MEXT.
