Skin is the first largest organ in our body which is acting as protective barrier to animals against invasion from microbes and pathogens. It is composed of two major layers, the outer epidermis and the inner layer is dermis. The outer epidermis contained a densely packed keratinocyte layer which serves as a protective barrier against pathogens along with various environmental stimuli. Psoriasis-it is a chronic life-long inflammatory disease that primarily affects the skin, musculoskeletal system, the gastrointestinal system and the eye. It is a non-contagious disease involves the mechanism of immune system reacting to skin cells. An increase in mitotic activity in the strartumbasale, abnormal keratinisation and elongation of the dermal papillae towards the skin surface result in a thicker stratum corneum that desquamates to produce large scales. Acne is a chronic, inflammatory disorder of the sebaceous glands of the skin that affects majorly anterior, posterior and chest regionsof the human body and characterized by presences of, papules, pustules, nodules, cysts, comedones and scars on the skin.
