Buspirone is promoted as a better drug for anxiety, as it does not cause any sedation, tolerance or physical dependence.This is an observational study undertaken, between October 2009 to March 2010, at the Psychiatric inpatient Department of Manipal Teaching Hospital. The Z test was used to examine the difference between different variables and strength of the relationship with logistic regression. p 0.05 is considered as statistically significant.This is the first study on anxiolytic drugs in psychiatry inpatients from Nepal.This book is essential for the general population and the researchers.
