A Dra. Esha Sharma está actualmente associada à NIMR (ICMR), Nova Deli como Cientista DST Women Scientist. Ela tinha feito o seu doutoramento em Controlo Herbal de Doenças Vector Borne. Também ganhou um Prémio de Jovem Cientista pela Universidade Rajasthan em 2012. Também foi galardoada com a bolsa Meritorious BSR da UGC e mais de 15 publicações revistas por pares em seu crédito.
