Gabriell Lucchese-Hood was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She graduated from SUNY Purchase College with her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. In addition, she completed a professional certificate program in Early Childhood Development. She received her master's degree at Adelphi University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a speech-language pathologist and an English as a Foreign Language tutor. Gabriell lives with her husband, John, and her dog, Jedi. She enjoys traveling, tacos, and all things Disney. In fact, she was once a cast member at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Gabriell is also the owner of Gab Lab, a speech therapy and children's activities blog for related service providers, education professionals, and parents.
