This first edition had capitalized and shared knowledge and experiences on the difficulties observed in methodological practices in the teaching of philosophy at the secondary level in Burkina Faso. From the dissemination made of this first booklet and its use in the didactic courses of the initial training of philosophy and methodology teachers with students, the feedback is positive in sum. The correction of direct and professional competitions and the participation in the activities of the Philosophy Inspectorate and the baccalaureate juries have made it possible to confirm certain progress in the practice of essay and commentary exercises.
