Produktbeschreibung
This book attempts to answer one of the most critical question in the realm of philosophy, that is, how do we come to know. This intriguing question has been wrestled by many philosophers right from the ancient times and still it remains a concern for all philosophers. The author being an expert in epistemology realizes that many students find it hard to understand Epistemology because they are only concerned with the mastery of the theories of knowledge, and they fail to learn the foundation of those theories. The author shows that the foundation of all these theories of knowledge and their conflicting and disparate philosophies is the mistaken and unspoken assumption about knowledge, objectivity and reality. The author has managed to show how these conflicting theories of knowledge can be brought into a complementary philosophy by identifying polymorphism of human consciousness as the answer. He makes use of such concepts like self appropriation, interiority and self affirmation of one's cognitive activities. This book is appropriate for students who are engaged in Philosophy of knowledge, Epistemology, Philosophy of education, Theories of knowledge and Metaphysics.
