The monograph is devoted to the concept of sensuality in the philosophy of Feuerbach and the peculiarities of the influence of his ideas on the philosophical and anthropological approaches and concepts of the twentieth century. The views on sensuality in the history of philosophy before Feuerbach are considered, the typology of the concept of sensuality is proposed. The specifics of Feuerbach's solution to the problem of sensuality are revealed. The Feuerbachian image of man is constructed and its difference from the classical European model of man is analyzed. It is shown that the works of such thinkers as Marx, Marcuse, Buber, Fromm, Frankl, Bakhtin, Levinas, Burckhardt, etc. succeed to Feuerbach's ideas on sensuality. The question of Feuerbach's contribution to the methodology of modern humanitarian knowledge is raised. The problem of alienated sensuality is considered. The monograph is intended for philosophers, culturologists, psychologists, and specialists in philosophical anthropology.
