Autorenporträt
Dr. Seema Garg is a Professor and Head, Student Affairs at Amity University, Noida, UP, India. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2003 in Chemistry from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, UP, India. She has cumulative teaching and research experience of more than 22 years. Her research interests focus on water treatment, photocatalysis, including development of material for enhancing the photocatalytic activity, hydrogen generation and Carbon di-oxide reduction reactions to provide efficient and affordable solution. She has to her credit 14 patents and a number of publications in journals of repute. She is on the reviewer and editorial board of many journals too. She has guided four students and now supervising 2 students towards their doctoral degree and has supervised many post graduate students. She has completed an international, Indo-Hungarian project (2016-2020) as a Principal investigator, funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, India and NRDIO, Hungaryand  an Italian consultancy project. She is Co-PI in Indo-Hungarian Project (2021-2024). Her teaching engagements include Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Techniques, Applied Chemistry, Engineering Chemistry, Spectroscopic Techniques, Spectroscopic Methods of Analysis, Catalysis and Green Chemistry to the under-graduate, post-graduate and Ph.D. students. Amrish Chandra is a Professor of Pharmacy at Amity University, Noida and Registered Patent Agent with Govt. of India. He earned his M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and his Ph.D. work was on formulation of transdermal delivery device. He has teaching and research experience of more than 21 years.  He has expertise in developing pharmaceutical formulations as well as in performing pharmacological experimentation on animal models.  Recently, he has worked extensively on photocatalytic degradation of pharmaceutical waste and antibiotics in wastewater. He has published more than 100 research papers in journal of repute and he is on the reviewer and editorial board of many journals too. He has filed 15 patents and supervised 8 Ph.D. and 35 PG students. He has granted an ICMR funded project & completed an Italian consultancy project and a DST sponsored Indo-Hungary Project. He has edited a book with Springer & published 3 book chapters. He was among the few selected from India to participate in JPO-IPO training for IP professionals
